PearlLab ThinFilm™ Beam
The PearlLab ThinFilm™ Beam provides a uniform UV-C fluence delivery to ultra-low UV transmittance process fluids and is designed to be controlled via a laptop tool. It is ideal for testing and processing pharmaceutical fluids with low UVT or applications requiring very high UV Doses.

Advanced UV-C LED Arrays
The light source is a replaceable LED lamp module available from 265 – 280 nm. The UV sources are directed towards a single-use quartz flow cell, through which the process fluid is pumped at a calibrated flow rate to achieve a target UV fluence.


Uniform Exposure
The design of the reaction chamber, UV sources, and process is such that a uniform exposure is provided throughout the fluid volume; this ensures that sufficient UV fluence is provided for inactivation of any adventitious agent, whilst minimizing over-exposure that may lead to reduced overall product yield.


Flexible Operation
The level of UV exposure is linearly related to the flow rate of product through the flow cell. Allowing PearlLab ThinFilm™ Beam users to easily achieve the target Dose.
