AquiSense Inc. Year in Review
The past year brought significant growth and new achievements for AquiSense. Throughout 2025, we strengthened our position in the industry, advanced key projects, and reached important milestones, including our 10-year anniversary. As we look back on the year, we are proud of the progress we have made and the momentum we carry.
A New Chapter
At the beginning of the year, AquiSense took a bold step forward. We completed a full employee and investor buyout of the company from our former parent company, and emerged as an independent, privately held company. We are now officially AquiSense
Incorporated, majority owned by our employees, and external investors. With this transition comes renewed autonomy and a clearer focus on expanding our impact across disinfection markets around the world.
Fueling Growth
In April 2025, we secured our Series A funding round, led by Burnt Island Ventures, with additional investment coming from the Kentucky Keyhorse Capital fund and previous seed
investors. These funds continue to accelerate our growth across multiple sectors including municipal and industrial water treatment.
Certifications & Regulatory Milestones
We reached a major milestone with one of our flagship products: the PearlAqua Kilo. Completing certification to the rigorous standards of NSF International/ANSI/CAN 61-2024
and validation under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s UVDGM guidance. Marking a major moment in validating UV-C LED water treatment technology for
large-scale public water applications. This opens the door for much broader adoption of LED disinfection by municipalities and industrial water applications globally.
