Water disinfection solutions in aerospace solutions: published article

AquiSense Technologies published an article in Water Quality Products Magazine on the use of UV-C LEDs in aviation.

This article points out the challenges and potential solutions for water disinfection on commercial flights.

Authored by Mitch Hansen, marketing manager and Molly McManus, regional sales manager at AquiSense Technologies, the article said: “UV-C LED systems are being developed under multiple aerospace applications. These projects cover applications of all types, from keeping growth systems clean in space-bound greenhouses to decreasing the maintenance burden from nuisance biofilm formation in enclosed systems, to disinfecting the water that astronauts drink on the International Space Station (ISS).”
